This Privacy Policy describes how Addis Crown ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform at addiscrown.et. By using our platform, you agree to the terms described here.
When you register, we collect your email address, phone number (optional), and authentication credentials. If you use Telebirr to sign in, we receive a verified identifier from the Telebirr system to create your account.
We collect information about how you use the platform, including which legal document templates you access, document generation events, and feature interactions. This data is used solely to improve the platform.
We may collect your browser type, operating system, and IP address for security purposes including fraud prevention and abuse detection.
Legal documents generated using our platform are stored temporarily in your session. We do not permanently store the content of your generated documents on our servers unless you explicitly save them.
To authenticate your identity, manage your token balance, and deliver the document generation services you request.
To detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraudulent account creation, and misuse of the platform (including copy-protection enforcement).
To send you important service updates, billing confirmations, and account alerts. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
Aggregate, anonymized usage data helps us understand which legal areas are most used and improve the quality of our templates.
Your account data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore), which is hosted in compliant data centers with encryption at rest and in transit.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with: (a) Telebirr/Ethio Telecom for payment processing when you use that method, (b) Google Firebase as our infrastructure provider, and (c) when required by Ethiopian law or court order.
We use session cookies necessary for authentication and platform function. These cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
We use Google Analytics (when enabled) to understand traffic patterns. This data is anonymized and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out via your browser's privacy settings.
If we enable Google AdSense, Google may place cookies to serve relevant advertisements. These are governed by Google's advertising policies. You can manage your ad preferences at google.com/settings/ads.

Addis Crown is not intended for and does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
